How buyers find a records page

Each car's records page has its own permanent link, built on a short code rather than the VIN. Share it in your listing, a message or anywhere else. It stays the same for every future owner.

Someone with only the VIN can search at vinfirm.com/find. It shows cars in a live sale and nothing else: a private car and a VIN Vinfirm has never seen give the same empty result.

Live records pages can appear in search engines. Archived pages stay reachable through links already shared, but aren't indexed.

If you've set up a seller profile, your name on the records page links to it.
